Thanks to oil, agricultural yields were multiplied many times over and made the world population explode:

1 billion => 8 billion in 200 years

Without oil,

we will be forced back to the way of life of before 1850

In 1850 there was "only" 1 billion human beings to feed

Without oil,

with agricultural yields devastated by the disrupted climate,

how do we feed 8 billion individuals?
